Dalton Burr

Dalton graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014. While attending SUU he performed in both student and faculty choreographed shows, as well as toured with SUU’s Ballroom dance company. Dalton has also toured Europe with the Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus as a singer/dancer performing in such venues as Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy and Cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris in Paris, France. While living in Chicago, Dalton has danced for such companies as; Aerial Dance Chicago, Elements Contemporary Ballet, Chicago Repertory Ballet, The Vaudettes, and The Drifters Collective. Melding his training of both contemporary dance and aerial arts into a unique style. In addition to dancing, Dalton has choreographed four pieces under Aerial Dance Chicago. His choreography Birth by Fire being described as, “an intense and high-speed solo on aerial hoop”. While performing with the same company Dalton was heralded by the Chicago Tribune as, “terrific: technically proficient, focused, charismatic.” In 2018 Dalton, along with his friend and dance partner Angela Fernandez, created their own company DNA circus company. Representing both “Dalton and Angela”, as well as their performance specialties “Dance and Aerial” the mission of the company is to create powerful and hypnotic performances through combining their unique artistic histories. A weaving of ideas into a singular helix that gives life to every piece they create.
